Production Log #3

For this week, I re-made my animatic and timed it out more properly. I made sure to add in the script lines to give each scene context, though I’ll be properly spacing out my animatic once I get a basic scratch-track audio file to use.

Aside from the animatic, I began working on the RPG Maker sprites again. I managed to get the sprites colored and I’ll be cleaning them up this week. The main reason as to why I colored the sprite so early is so that I can check the color palettes of the backgrounds/locations, and make sure my character is visible. I’d like him to stand out from the background as to not get lost in the weird colors of the void. I’ll be posting palettes soon.

Update (9/27) - I actually managed to program pretty much everything into RPG maker! It’s still a bit rough around the edges, but with a bit of clean up over the weekend, I’m sure it’ll be working as I intended. For now, here’s a sneak peek at what I currently have!
